This film is not just a look at their lives but an exploration of what New York is to queens today as well as in the past, we meet the drag queen that was there when it was illegal, the one who left it all when it became too much as well as one who achieved fame from RuPaul’s Drag Race. Drag queens are political too and in this film we cover Sister Roma’s fight against Facebook and the fight for a new location for the New York bar Boots & Saddles.

Episode #16 “Create Your Own Work”

This week with Tom we discuss the importance to being able to create your own work in this business.
From theater to film and how to start…

IMG_8332

Remember it all starts with an idea, a passion, a script…and the desire to tell a story.

IMG_8333

It’s important to surround yourself with people you trust who will bring your vision to life and who will become your family for as long as that story will been told!

Let your creative juices flow and get out there and make some art!

This week we wanted to also take a moment thinking about the horrific tragedie(s) in Orlando.

We stand strong with Orlando and everyone involved.
