This week we are joined by actress, director, writer and producer Kirsten Russell.
Kirsten began as an actress in Miami, Florida where she attended the Performing and Visual Arts High School. She was accepted into California Institute of the Arts and after two years there left for New York City. She spent many years performing off Broadway and eventually began her own theatre company.
Then in 2006 she wrote, produced and directed her first film short, “Valentines”. She followed it by writing and directing her award-winning first feature, “Rabbit Stories”.
She is currently on the festival circuit with her award-winning short “Universal Language” that she wrote and directed in Paris in 2013.
You can watch “Universal Language” -> HERE until June 1st.
She is currently editing her next short “Like Totally Hot Couple Seeking Same” that she wrote but co-directed with her long-time collaborator, Marcel Simoneau.
